Its home page claims 'tens of millions' of dollars' worth of data provided to AI labs and research companies; it names no data partners, labs or completed partnerships.[4, 1] as of

TechCrunch's March 2026 article covers Nyne's people-context product for AI agents and does not mention its business-data program.[8] as of

Nyne, a seed-funded AI data company, says it licenses operational data from companies with at least 20 full-time U.S. W-2 employees and three years of operational workflows, removes identifying details itself, delivers the dataset to frontier AI labs and pays “once your dataset is delivered and accepted”, as of October 2026. It says partnerships are “commonly worth $100K or more”.

Who would we sign with, and who ends up with the data?

You sign a licensing agreement with Nyne, and Nyne says it delivers the prepared dataset to labs it does not name. Its data-partnerships page says the dataset “goes to frontier AI labs for training and evaluation under contractual confidentiality,” that “Partner companies are never identified,” and that the data is “not published or made publicly accessible.”

Check which company you are signing with. Nyne’s home page footer names Nyne AI Inc., its privacy policy names Nyne.ai Corp., and its website terms, last updated May 28, 2025, describe “a marketing platform providing information, tools, and services related to digital marketing” and say nothing about data partnerships. Because Nyne’s published terms do not cover data partnerships, your terms would come from the partnership agreement alone; ask to read it before the scoping work starts.

Does my company qualify for Nyne?

Nyne lists three conditions under “Who we partner with” on its data-partnerships page, as of October 2026:

  • “20+ full-time U.S. W-2 employees”;
  • “3+ years of real operational workflows” in established data systems your teams already run on;
  • a clear decision-maker who can scope the partnership, approve packages and keep reviews moving.

The headcount rule counts U.S. W-2 staff, so contractors and overseas teams would not count toward it. Its estimator nonetheless lets you choose Canada, Europe or Other as the company’s country. If most of your staff are outside the U.S., ask before spending time on scoping. Does my company’s data qualify? compares the thresholds providers publish.

What does Nyne pay, and when?

Nyne puts a typical partnership at $100K or more and pays after delivery and acceptance, with no published timing. Its seller page says partnerships are commonly worth $100K or more, “Depending on the type and amount of data available.” Its estimator shows $383,083 to $896,969 at its default of 100 employees, 10 years and USA, labeled “indicative and not an offer,” with the final value set by “data quality, volume, rights, and the outcome of due diligence.” How offers work explains how a figure like that differs from an offer.

Because payment waits on acceptance, the criteria matter. Nyne says they are agreed “before anything is collected or transferred,” which is the point to fix them in writing, along with who decides acceptance and the number of days from acceptance to payment. Asked whether the revenue is recurring, its FAQ answers only that Nyne “designs its partnership so there are chances in the future for new opportunities.” How long until I get paid? covers what to put in the agreement.

Who sees our raw data?

Nyne does. Its process says the identifying details are removed on Nyne’s side: “you transfer the data as it exists today, and we take it from there” (data-partnerships page). Its list of what “never leaves” covers “Employee and customer identities in the delivered package,” your raw systems and credentials, and anything outside the signed agreement. So the protection applies to what reaches the labs; Nyne itself receives the records with names in them.

Its seller page adds that cleanup rules are matched to your systems and tested “against the agreed release standard,” that you can exclude categories entirely, and that retention and deletion are set per engagement, with “No indefinite use outside the agreed scope.” Ask how long Nyne keeps the raw transfer and how deletion is confirmed. What “anonymized” means compares providers that de-identify before and after transfer.

What else does Nyne do with data about people?

Nyne also runs a data business about people and companies. Its home page describes an identity graph spanning “2.2B people and 380M businesses,” and TechCrunch reported in March 2026 that its product gives AI agents context about people from their public digital footprints. Its privacy policy, updated September 1, 2026, says it is registered as a data broker in California, Texas and Vermont, and that “some disclosures of personal information may be considered a sale under California law.”

Nyne’s seller page says use of partner data “is restricted to the purpose fixed in your agreement.” Because the same company holds both kinds of data, ask for a written term that your records will not be combined with the identity graph or used in its people-data products.

Why might someone introduce us to Nyne?

Nyne pays for introductions. Its referral page offers “up to $20,000 for each company you introduce” that has at least 20 U.S. full-time employees and completes a transaction. Its intake form also lists “Email Outreach” among the ways a company may have heard of it. If an adviser, banker or vendor suggests Nyne, ask whether they will be paid if you sign. Is that a good offer? lists what other providers pay referrers.

How established is Nyne?

Nyne is seed-funded. TechCrunch reported a $5.3 million seed round in March 2026, led by Wischoff Ventures and South Park Commons, and named the founders, a father and son, as Michael Fanous, CEO, and Emad Fanous, CTO. That article is about its people-context product and does not mention the business-data program. The nyne.ai domain was registered in November 2022.

The rest of Nyne’s record is its own. Its home page claims a valuation of “Nearly a quarter billion dollars, within a year of founding” and “tens of millions” of dollars’ worth of data provided to AI labs and research companies. When Data Licensing Report checked on October 5, 2026, its pages named no data partners, no labs and no completed partnerships.

What should we settle with Nyne before signing?

Settle these four points in the agreement itself:

  1. Which entity signs, Nyne AI Inc. or Nyne.ai Corp., and can we see the partnership agreement now?
  2. What are the acceptance criteria, who decides acceptance, and how many days after acceptance are we paid?
  3. Is the license exclusive, and for how long may the labs use the data?
  4. Will the agreement bar combining our records with Nyne’s identity graph or people-data products?

Raw-data retention and any referral payment, raised above, belong on the same list. Terms Nyne has already proposed can go through the offer benchmark.
